Although I've had a keen interest in photography for many years it is only since retiring from full time work and moving to North Devon four years ago that I've been able to spend time really practising and developing my photographic skills. Here I must pay tribute to members of Barnstaple Camera Club, especially Pete Fry, who have been a real inspiration and have been incredibly generous in sharing their time, knowledge, and expertise.
My photographic preference is for the wildlife and landscapes of North Devon's varied environments - the rugged coastline and Lundy, the valleys and estuaries of the rivers Taw and Torridge, the slopes of Exmoor, and the wilds of Dartmoor. By way of diversion I still manage the occasional extended trip abroad and in these exotic locations my camera has enabled me to capture images which provide evocative memories!
But enough of me! - many thanks indeed for visiting my website. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed taking them!
If you would like to use any of them for non profit making or charitable purposes please email me - I am happy to share them free of charge. For other use, or to order mounted prints or photocards please email me for details
